The GCA Staff Team
The GCA was launched in 2018 by the Renfros, Coxes, Kachuriaks, and Herbsts. Since then, God has grown the team. All current staff members are listed below in alphabetical order. Each staff person raises all of the support needed to cover their ministry needs. Thank you for prayerfully and financially supporting our team!
Russell Baker
Graphic Designer and Great Commission Mobilizer Tabitha Baker Staff Health and Ministry Coordinator Russell and Tabitha are driven to see people everywhere intimately walking with God in every aspect of life. With degrees in elementary education and graphic design, respectively, they seek to equip the body of Christ with Great Commission resources and encouragement. Tabitha serves on the admin team as well. |
B Family
Great Commission Associate B Family Great Commission Associate they have been involved in college ministry for several years and are currently working toward their degrees in World Missions and Theology. Both are passionate about evangelism and discipleship cross-culturally and have a heart for the unreached in the 10/40 Window. They are also excited to be working domestically with next-generation leaders. |
Stephanie Brown
Great Commission Mobilizer Stephanie has served in full-time college ministry and has also served as the Executive Director for Care Net Pregnancy Centers. She has a Bachelor’s in Biblical Administration and a Master’s in Biblical Studies (emphasis in Biblical Counseling). She is very involved in women's ministry and she is passionate about mobilizing believers around the world to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. |
Nick Carico
Great Commission Catalyst Nick Carico is committed to making disciples through various forms of ministry within the local church, missions, and the workplace. He learned to minister through a business background, where he owned and operated several businesses that were oriented toward workplace and community ministry. He has served on senior leadership within the local church, has a strong heart for training and equipping, and greatly enjoys supporting ministry and organizational startup / operation through coaching and consulting. Johnny Colvin
Great Commission Mobilizer Johnny has been volunteering in church ministry since 2012. He has served as a youth sponsor, college group leader, and games director. In 2023 God laid on his heart the need to be out sharing the gospel. His calling is to come alongside the local church support and equip the church in evangelism. On the GCA team, Johnny has traveled in the Middle East and in Africa. He feels passionate about helping follow up with churches and ministries the GCA has trained around the world. Jesse Denison
Staff Development Coordinator Rhonda Denison Orphan Care Coordinator Jesse and Rhonda have been in ministry since 2005. They have a passion for evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development. They are thrilled to be mobilizing believers around the world for the glory of God! Jesse is finishing a Master’s degree from Denver seminary. He is also on the GCA strategic leadership team and admin team and he trains leaders around the globe. We thank God for the Denisons! |
Richard Godsil
Pastoral Care Coordinator Richard has spent over 40 years working with youth, families and communities in outreach for Christ. His degree in Youth Ministry and Master’s in Family Development and Education have equipped him to be a Youth and Family Pastor, a Fatherhood Coach, and a GCA trainer. He is the author of Building a Strong and Loving Family. He mentors younger pastors and trains leaders around the world on a weekly basis. We thank God for Richard! |
Nate Herbst
Team Coordinator Erin Herbst Assistant Team Coordinator Nate and Erin helped launch the GCA in 2018. They have been in full time ministry since 2004 and were both involved in different areas of ministry for many years before that. Nate has a PhD in Leadership and he and Erin both have seminary degrees from Liberty University. Erin is focused on training content while Nate helps with the GCA strategic leadership team and admin team as well. We thank God for the Herbsts! |
Drew Hoey
Transformational Opportunities Coordinator Dara Hoey Ministry Catalyst Drew and Dara followed God’s leading to join the GCA staff in November of 2021. They have been in ministry since 2015, serving the local church in media and communications, as well as teaching children. With biblical and missions training from Word of Life Bible Institute and a desire to see the world reached for Christ, they are excited to be a part of team that is focused on completing the Great Commission. Chris Kachuriak
Partner Development & Training Coordinator Michelle Kachuriak Women’s Ministry & Training Coordinator Chris and Michelle helped launch the GCA in 2018 after leaving very successful corporate careers in 2017. They assist in a number of areas of the ministry with a focus in international partnership development and administration. In addition to his BA degree in Finance, Chris is a John Maxwell certified leadership consultant and helps with the GCA strategic leadership team and admin team. We thank God for the Kachuriaks! |
Matt Lee
Great Commission Mobilizer Jo Lee Great Commission Mobilizer Matt & Jo Lee help with resource development, training, technology support, and more. Matt and Jo feel a strong calling to support marriages and families in the Body of Christ. They met at Fort Lewis College, Durango Co., married in 2003, and have 4 children. Matt is called to encourage, strengthen, and comfort the Church (1 Cor. 14:3-4). He will do this by discipling individuals, marriages, and families. Jo is also called to marriages and families and will disciple and co-teach with Matt. We thank God for the Lees! |
Byju Vijayan-Sarada
Asian Ministry Coordinator Deborah Vijayan-Sarada Assistant Asian Ministry Coordinator Byju and Deborah are from S. Asia. Jesus saved Byju out of a Hindu background many years ago. In addition to various ministry activities, Byju and Deborah are working on PhDs, which is a strategic part of their GCA ministry responsibilities, as it is equipping them to lead the GCA across Asia. After finishing, they will lead the GCA S. Asia training center. We thank God for the Vijayan-Saradas! |

Philip Wilder
Great Commission Mobilizer Philip has a degree in education and has spent two years in the Middle East as a missionary with Cru and one year with Master Plan Ministries on the Denver Auraria campus. He joined the GCA in 2018, where he uses his degree and love of story-telling to pursue new and creative ways to reach the world with the gospel as well as develop curricula to train others in discipleship and evangelism. Philip helps with the admin team too. We thank God for Philip! |
